Christmas market in Moers Asberg xD

Yes this is different from my first entry!
This was a market just before my door, it was just one day long on the 1.Advent.
Santa Clause was in Germany! \(*_*)/
No not really xD

It's common that people dress up as Santa Clause and give presents to the children like chocolate. I wanted to get something too..but he didn't gave me anything
because I'm too old (Q_Q)"
I want chocolate....

And just another picture from Santa
Clause giving presents to the children.

But I bought this fired almonds ^^ There is caramel around them and it tastes very sweet. I love them *///*
Then I ate a "crépe". Looks like a mochi right? Oo But this is just normal batter filled with a nut-nougat creme. It tastes very good. You eat it hot.
After that I had some delicious "Glühwein". It has 5% alcohol in it xD It tastes good and it's traditional in Germany to drink at christmas ^^ I felt dizzy the next day because I drank too much www xD.
And of course there were many christmas shops as well where you can buy a lot of christmas things, like food and decoration articles ^^

So..this is it what's christmas like in Germany. I will make some photos of the family fest at home on 24.december so wait for it ^^

  1. Hi Annika, I have just read your blog.^^ Thank you for showing me German Christmas. It looks so much beautiful and full of fun! I would like to get in the market place now, and eat every kind of sweets there. Christmas Eve is popular event in Japan, but I think we Japanese really don't know how to celebrate Christmas.X( Someday, I want to go to Germany and experience "true" Christmas fest.XD By the way, in Japan, New Years day is more important national event. How is it in Germany?

    Momo^^
